In Touch

Last week we had the privilege of hanging out with the sophomores at Redemptorist High School in Baton Rouge.  All I can say is what a great class this is.  The students were incredibly engaged in the retreat and were fun to be around.  The theme was “In Touch” and Katie and I challenged the students to get in touch with Jesus and to stay in touch with him, especially during this preparation season of Advent.  We reflected on the Gospel passage of Jesus’ healing of the woman with a hemorrhage.  Not only do we need to stay in touch with Jesus, but his healing touch transforms us.  In the sacrament of the Eucharist our Lord and Saviour comes face to face with us and unites us to himself.

Happy Advent.
