Confirmed in the Kingdom

“This is my beloved Son; with whom I am well pleased.” Matt 3:17 On the feast of the Baptism of the Lord, we had the opportunity to give a Confirmation retreat at St. Francis of Assisi in Donaldsonville, LA.  We shared that when we receive the sacrament of Confirmation, we are called to be soldiers of Christ and to be witnesses to the Gospel.  We are called to be sheep, not goats (Matt 25:31) and to take up our role in the Kingdom of God....
